DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA
Pollença in the north of the island is a small town with narrow streets that surround the main square full of cafes, restaurants and bars. Pollença also has an attractive little port a few kilometers away called Port de Pollença.
Pollença meets several of the requirements to become a desirable place to live. It is a city with a solid and well established infrastructure with easy access to the MA21 motorway, but surrounded by a unique natural beauty. There is a large international community, which intermingles with the large number of locals. The slightly older generation of Majorcans remain somewhat incredulous about the large number of tourists and international visitors who arrive to Pollença, an attitude that adds even more charm to the town.
There are several points of interest, such as the Roman bridge or ‘Pont Roma’, which is still used or the Puig de Pollença - a small mountain on the top of which is a monastery just outside the city.
